In it’s first year the Book Nook was financially supported by two clubs – American
Women of Ticino AWOT( and the International Women’s Club of Lugano .(IWCL) Since
then the library has been financially independent, with annual support coming from
cardholder fees, book sales, Sponsors, and fundraising events.
Individuals or businesses may become Sponsors for 100.- SFr. per year.
Sponsors receive a library card for one year, and the opportunity to
display promotional materials on our resource shelf. A list of Sponsors is prominently
displayed in the library.
